Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away!!! OMGeeeee… it’s time to think about the table.  I’ve created a festive tablescape that is simple AND cost effective.  I LOVE turkey day and bringing everyone together at the dinner table is the best part!  So, why not have a fabulous table to go with your yummy meal?!  I found most of my decor items from World Market and finished off the look with a few tricks of my own 😉  I always say the devil is in the details!  Here are a few tips:

[1] Take the time to create place cards OR have them made on Etsy.  It gives your table a personal touch.  I use Made by Meer – she’s amazing, sends you a proof AND has great pricing ($1.25/ea)!

[2] Be creative with your place holders!  I used mini pumpkins – aren’t they the cutest?!  All you do is  take a small knife, slice half-way through the pumpkin and viola, place your name card in.

[3] Fresh BLOOMS!  Flowers literally take a table to the next level.  They are so beautiful and really bring the whole look together.  You don’t have to break the bank to get the look you want.  I spent $21 dollars to be exact on my centerpiece and they are absolutely gorgeous.  I’m obsessed with my neighborhood flower shop, Fleurish!  They also deliver – check them out here.

[4] Pick a COLOR scheme and stick to it!  Above I’ve chosen oranges, reds and yellows to fall in-line with the autumn season.  If you saw my Halloween decor post I was all about the black and white.  Once you pick an overall look/color, it’s easier to stay on track and decorate!

Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard!  There are so many ideas so pick and chose what you like and what works the best for your home.  Happy decorating!
