It’s time for another look at my fixer upper house! Today I wanted to share the powder room transformation. And like the guest bathroom, it needed a lot of love!! Like, why oh why, the RED wallpaper?? Yikes!!
Now for the DOOR and FLOORS… they also needed some help! I decided to paint all of the existing doors in the home BM “Simply White” and replaced the hardware with affordable black options. SO MUCH BETTER! After seeing everything so bright and white, I had to do something about the old 90’s wood floors. Since the beaming in the home was already dark brown, I went with a similar stain to match them. The painters used a custom color.
Next up, I replaced the yellowish sink and toilet with WHITE options. I went with a fun farmhouse pedestal sink. Love it! After getting the main items in the room done, I added a simple round black mirror and cool modern farmhouse blue/gray scones. You will probably notice we went with matte black hardware in this bathroom as well. I found a great budget friendly faucet, towel ring and toilet paper holder.
In smaller spaces, like a bathroom, I really GO for it! I love how it turned out. Everything is linked below (if possible) as well as the decor in the powder room! Please leave a comment on this post with any questions you have! Scroll down to see details of this space.
