This is your sign to deep clean and moisturize your wood kitchen utensils!👩🏻‍🍳💦 Now that I only use wood because it’s a great non-toxic option, it’s important to regularly sanitize and apply mineral oil. This will ensure all of the bacteria is killed AND they will last longer👏🏻👏🏻 An easy two steps to add to your Sunday reset!👇🏻

1. Boil water and add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1/2 of a lemon juiced🍋. Boil for 15 minutes. Remove from water and let dry.

2. Take an organic cotton cloth with mineral oil (I like coconut🥥) and wipe down utensils. Let them sit until fully absorbed - usually 3 hours. They are now ready to be used again!

I have found THE best hybrid skincare / sunscreen face product! It has a combo of zinc oxide to protect your skin (SPF 50) + peptides for collagen building and plumping. This sunscreen milk is non-toxic + is @ewgverified so you know it has good ingredients. I use it every day as the last step in my skincare and before I apply any makeup. It may look white and milky when it first comes out of the bottle, BUT gently massage it into the skin and it becomes clear. It is SO lightweight and your skin will glow. Y’all are going to be obsessed💫

Low-tox living swap / healthy light bulbs💡💡 Yet again I’m taking it back to the basics to keep my home as healthy as possible. Switch out your LED bulbs for full spectrum!! WHY oh WHY you ask??? Well the short answer is, they are distrusting your hormones (circadian rhythm) among other things: causing headaches, low-level stress, eye stain and disrupting sleep😳 These lights are filled with blue light AND have a major flicker you can’t see with the naked eye. Use your slow motion camera like I did to see🤯 I started making the swap to healthy bulbs this past year. First in all of my lamps (especially the kids rooms) and now all of my fixtutes and cans (if possible). I only use the lights that have the full spectrum. The bulbs I’m showing you today may get a little warm, BUT they are EMF safe, natural mood boosters and have zero eye strain!! I’ll take it!!👏🏻 Living that low-tox life one swap at a time💁🏻‍♀️

CO2 CoolPeel Laser 🔥 day-by-day face recovery👏🏻 I’m about to be 40 and I wanted to try a resurfacing laser, however I wasn’t ready for the BIG one, and quite frankly don’t need it. This is why I decided to do the CoolPeel. It rejuvenates the skin by reducing fine lines, sun damage, texture issues, and pore size. It uses laser energy in short pulses that avoid deep thermal damage, stimulating collagen for brighter, smoother, and healthier-looking skin👏🏻

I was told there was minimal downtime BUT in my experience, I was a puff ball and definitely needed to stay home for 4 days - see video🐡😂 The vinegar soaks I started to do really helps with swelling and sloughing. I highly recommend!! Keep the skin hydrated and trust the process👌🏻 The treatment itself did not hurt (I used numbing cream). Day one felt like an intense sunburn and day two the skin was tight before sloughing started. It looked WAY worse than it felt. NO pain!
