Happy weekend, babes! I’ve been getting my glow on and many of y’all have been asking how I achieve this look. Well, it starts with skincare!! Today I wanted to share the 5 products that help my skin get that dewy texture – 3 skincare and 2 makeup. These items will help brighten and hydrate the skin as well as even out your skin tone. It only takes me 5 minutes to get ready each morning!
Serum – The SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF is worth every penny! It has helped brighten my skin and diminish discoloration. The serum is designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. I put 1/4 of a vial in the palm of my hand and pat onto my face. I wait for it to dry before applying my next step.
Oil – I’m all about that hydration and this face oil is bomb! If you have acne prone skin like me, the Samaya Organics oil is for you. It penetrates deep into the skin helping to address acne issues, while nourishing the tissues and assisting in reducing redness and pigmentation. They also have a heavier oil I’ve been using at night. I put 1/4 to 1/2 of a vial in the palm of my hand and pat onto my face/neck.
Eye Cream – We can’t forget about the sensitive skin under the eyes. I go the extra step to get them V hydrated. The Bobbi Brown eye cream is great for daily use as it’s super moisturizer, lightweight and you can layer makeup over easily – NO flaking off! I put a small amount on my ring finger and dab it under my eyes until it has absorbed into the skin.
CC Cream – Yup, this is my holy grail of a skin/makeup product. I have an entire blog post dedicated to this magical Lune & Aster CC cream – check it out here! This is THE most evening product to get flawless looking skin! It feels light on the skin, provides medium coverage, has SPF 50 and gives you that DEWY GLOW!! Checks all the boxes! I typically wear this everyday in place of foundation. A little goes a long way so I put about a pea size in the palm of my hand and rub it into my skin. I typically take it down my neck to blend it in. Wash your hands after application! I wear medium.
Concealer – I like a lot of different concealers but the Tart Creaseless Undereye product is great for a dewy finish. It really helps brighten the under eye area while keeping it hydrated. I take the wand and apply it to my skin and then use a beauty blender to help absorb into my skin. I use the color: light-medium sand. Remember with concealers, it’s important to go a few shades lighter than your cc cream and/or foundation.
