Affordable Outdoor Furniture Finds \ 2021

Hey there, guys! I am V ready for warm weather and I know y’all are too!! Up here in Idaho our Spring typically starts in May because we are up in the mountains. BUT we have seen a glimpse of warm weather this week and snow has started to melt! I’m going to be very optimistic and hope for a longer spring/summer this years! 🙂
We are currently in the works to re-do all of our decks, so that mean I can finally purchase outdoor furniture for the “fixer upper” home we are living in. I am SO excited to create a beautiful space outside!
Blogging 101 \ How I got Started + Q&A

It all started about 5 years ago to the day. I was living in LA, wardrobe and personal styling. I wanted to create a “portfolio” of my overall look and aesthetic. I had no long term intensions of becoming a “fashion” blogger as I was not keen on taking pictures of myself. Like, seriously… NO thank you!! LOL Luckily about a year in I stated to share my condo and the engagement in my home content was HUGE! So I decided to pivot. I have been surrounded by real estate development, home building, designing and entertaining my entire life. My grandparents and parents were involved in all of these things. It was a gift that I got to experience this growing up and also discover I have a passion for everything home. Making the move to blog about home and lifestyle was THE best decision I made. I’ve learned to pay attention to the signs and be willing to take risks!
Gluten Free Pasta w/ Veggie Marinara Sauce

Happy Sunday, guys! Coming at you with one of my favorite vegetarian meals that I make frequently for dinner. Luke and Ford scarf this down… and I do too! 🙂 I found a legit protein plant-based protein pasta that tastes delicious. It is from the brand Ancient Harvest and has only two ingredients: lentil and quinoa flour! It’s a great alternative if you want to eat more healthy.
I pair this pasta with a quick and easy veggie marinara sauce! I use onions, portobello mushrooms, zucchini and spinach however you could use whatever vegetables you have in your fridge! Leave off the parmesan cheese if you’d like this meal to be vegan!!
My Neutral & Cozy Master Bedroom

Hi y’all! Today it’s all about my bedroom, which is one of my most popular rooms on Instagram. This space is my favorite bedroom I’ve designed thus far. It was a bit tricky at first as it has a large footprint. However I figured out how to create 4 different moments in one room: bed space, floor mirror & poufs setup, small table and chairs office space and an accent chair seating area. Detailed pictures below!
THE number one question I receive about this room is, where did I get my bed? Well, let me tell ya! It is from Restoration Hardware, which unfortunately, I can’t link via liketoknow.it. This is why it’s hard for y’all to find. BUT this is why I do blog posts, so I can go into more detail about furniture and finishes. Here are the deets: Tufted Bed – Size: King, 80″, Fabric: Perennial Performance Textured Linen Weave, Color: Sand. This bed frame is definitely splurge-worthy! I’ve had it for 6+ years with ZERO issues. She’s a beaut!

Luke’s Man Cave \ Small Space Living Room Finds

It’s all about small space living rooms today! After about 9 months of living in our current fixer upper home, I finally tackled Luke’s Man Cave. I’ll be sharing the details of his room as well as rounding up affordable rugs, coffee tables, sofas, end tables and poufs/ottomans that work well in smaller spaces. Scroll down to see!
When we moved in this home the walls were painted a yellow-ish color and the floors where light 90’s wood. I immediately had them painted Benjamin Moore “Simply White” to brighten up the room. The floors were stained dark to match the rest of the house. I decided to leave the fireplace alone as It was fairly neutral and mountain-y.
6 Skin Tools You Need in Your Life

Happy Sunday, babes! Since I’m ALL about self-care I wanted to take the time to share my 6 favorite skin tools I use weekly! All of these items are WORTH the investment and time. I carve out at least two times a week (about 30 min) for some skincare and ME time. I highly recommend it! The 6 tools have really stepped up my at-home skin routine. I basically have a spa in my bathroom now! 🙂
How to Refresh Your Living Room w/ Accent Furniture & Decor

Hey, friends! After the new year I gave my living room space a little refresh AND rearranged some furniture. I LOVE the way it turned out and today, I wanted to share it with y’all. I also rounded up MORE affordable options for accent furniture and decor to refresh your living rooms in the below SHOPS! Scroll down to check them out!
Overall my home style is neutral with a lot of texture and pops of dark accent colors: black and navy. My living room is a great example of this. The room is fairly large with high ceiling, so achieving a homey space to cuddle up in, is what I was going for. I was able to create this with a mix of structured furniture and cozy accents and decor.
Ford’s Eating Journey + Baby/Toddler Meal Ideas

Mamas, it’s time to talk about feeding our little ones! This post is about 6 months of age to now (14 months). For me, it was a bit scary once we started solids, however it has turned into such a fun journey! I’m grateful Ford is now an excellent eater because the beginning of this adventure was a bit rough. I talk more about this in the Q&A section. If you missed my first two breast/bottle feeding posts, check them out here & here.
Remember moms, every baby is SO different. Find what works for your little one! Don’t compare yourself to everyone else.
