Happy Sunday, guys! I’m here today to share another look at a before & after space in the fixer upper home. The bunk/play room has been a space we’ve started to use daily now that Ford is MOVING! I’m SO thankful we have this room for him and soon to be baby no. 2. It’s cozy, kid-friendly and fun!
Hey oh, pregnant mamas! This post is for YOU! I’m in the home stretch of my second pregnancy so I’ve tried a lot of maternity fashions, skincare, supplements, etc. Today I wanted to round up my must-haves that I know y’all will love too! I broke it into three categories: clothing, skin/beauty and nighttime goodies. Click on the above collage as it is all linked!
Hey there, guys! After taking a few weeks off, I’m back with a fun family post. I wanted to share baby no 2 maternity pictures we took last month. Our photographer, Amanda, does such a wonderful job and she’s captured our growing family over the past 3 years. I almost did not have maternity pics taken this time around BUT so glad I did. This pregnancy has flown by and doesn’t consume every thought as I have Ford to tend too. However, I’ve found it important to create space for the new baby, and these photos are one of the things I’m thankful for.
Y’all, get ready for the yummiest healthy salad recipe! This is my-to vegetarian dinner that I make at least once it week. It is packed full of vegetables and major flavor! The added quinoa makes for an extra protein and filling salad.
If you’re feeling like you want extra protein, I suggest adding salmon or grilled chicken. It’s a great addition! See below for the list of ingredients and steps to make this meal.
Welcome to my home!! The entryway areas in your home are the first spaces people see, SO let’s make them cozy and showcase your style.
In colder-weather locations, many home have what is called a “cold entry”. As you will notice in the pictures, this is what I have in the fixer upper house. It is essentially a small room you walk into, with another door opposite the front door, to keep the cold air out of the main area of the home. Here is where I utilized a bench and hooks…
Coming at ya today with another outdoor post as I found SO many great deals! My first being, Affordable Outdoor Furniture Finds \ 2021 – linked here. On this post I am rounding up accent furniture (rugs, fire pits and umbrellas) and decor (lighting and pillows). Since warmer weather is coming our way, it’s time to refresh our outdoor living spaces! It a great opportunity to bring our interior home design outside. Have fun with it!
Hey there, guys! I am V ready for warm weather and I know y’all are too!! Up here in Idaho our Spring typically starts in May because we are up in the mountains. BUT we have seen a glimpse of warm weather this week and snow has started to melt! I’m going to be very optimistic and hope for a longer spring/summer this years! 🙂
We are currently in the works to re-do all of our decks, so that mean I can finally purchase outdoor furniture for the “fixer upper” home we are living in. I am SO excited to create a beautiful space outside!
It all started about 5 years ago to the day. I was living in LA, wardrobe and personal styling. I wanted to create a “portfolio” of my overall look and aesthetic. I had no long term intensions of becoming a “fashion” blogger as I was not keen on taking pictures of myself. Like, seriously… NO thank you!! LOL Luckily about a year in I stated to share my condo and the engagement in my home content was HUGE! So I decided to pivot. I have been surrounded by real estate development, home building, designing and entertaining my entire life. My grandparents and parents were involved in all of these things. It was a gift that I got to experience this growing up and also discover I have a passion for everything home. Making the move to blog about home and lifestyle was THE best decision I made. I’ve learned to pay attention to the signs and be willing to take risks!
Happy Sunday, guys! Coming at you with one of my favorite vegetarian meals that I make frequently for dinner. Luke and Ford scarf this down… and I do too! 🙂 I found a legit protein plant-based protein pasta that tastes delicious. It is from the brand Ancient Harvest and has only two ingredients: lentil and quinoa flour! It’s a great alternative if you want to eat more healthy.
I pair this pasta with a quick and easy veggie marinara sauce! I use onions, portobello mushrooms, zucchini and spinach however you could use whatever vegetables you have in your fridge! Leave off the parmesan cheese if you’d like this meal to be vegan!!
