This year I wanted to create a neutral, simple table for Turkey day including a lot of DEALS! You don’t need to spend a lot of moolah to make a beautiful space. I used a bunch of items I already had and paired them with some new beauties.
Happy Sunday, boos! I don’t know about you, but it’s my favorite day of the week. NO Sunday scaries over here. A typical Sunday for me looks like this: coffee run with Luke, watch country music video, make brunch, watch my KC Chiefs if they are playing , food prep for the week and of course, some ME time. I carve out at least 30 minutes to an hour for some self-care. I typically do it in the late afternoon before I make dinner. I either take a bath or shower, put on comfy clothes and then do an eye, face and lip mask. I love giving my skin some TLC before the week starts.
I’m happy to be posting another NEW recipes for you guys. I love a pizza night and wanted to create a healthy fall cauliflower crust version packed full of squash, kale and my avocado basil pesto! Hey there, babes! Today I’m sharing a quick an easy recipe to liven up SO many dishes. I’ve been testing out an avocado basil pesto this past month and I finally got it right! Mixing just a bit of olive oil and nuts with the creamy texture and flavor of an avocado, was THE perfect touch.
I’m posting a new FALL cauliflower crust PIZZA next week using this avocado basil pesto as the base. Trust me, y’all are going to want to devour it! Other great things to put this spread on is: salmon, spaghetti squash, roasted veggies, baked/grilled chicken, flank steak and grilled shrimp. this pesto is a great addition to add flavor to proteins and/or veggies.
