Hey there, guys! I’ve been wanting to setup an outdoor dining area on our deck for months and finally did! I was initially waiting for our decking to be redone but I couldn’t find anyone to do anytime soon 🙁 GOOD news, we are going to replace it this coming spring when we gut and remodel the kitchen. I can’t wait!! With that said, please disregard the beat up wood. I did however place a very large jute rug down to “hide” a lot of it 🙂
Another dilemma I’ve been dealing with is actually finding an outdoor table. The ones I like are either sold out or not in stock until this fall. That timing does not work where I live as the snow will most likely start to fall in November. SOOOOOO what did I do?! I have been planing on re-doing the inside dining room which means I had an extra farmhouse table. AND yes, I understand it is not made to be outside. I was going to sell it but thought, why not use it outside?! So that’s what I did!
Hi guys! Today I’m sharing one of my newly designed outdoor spaces and I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite thus far! Y’all know I love a cozy situation so these two hanging egg chairs were perfect for this patio. It’s also a major bonus that they are right outside my bedroom! If you missed my first post about this space, featuring two chair adjacent to my hanging beauties, check it out here.
I have had my eye on numerous egg chair options for the past year in the hopes to replace an existing old porch swing. Finally a few months ago, I pulled the trigger! They arrived just a few weeks ago and I had them hung immediately. AND no, Luke did not do it LOL… he’s not the handiest of men.
Are y’all ready for an amazing new collaboration exclusively at Walmart?! I was a kid in the 90’s, so you know I’m a big fan of the Gap! It’s so fun to see these two companies partner up for a new stylish home line including bedding, bath items, kitchen goods and more!
Above I’ve created a collage with all of my favorite items from the collab. It’s clickable and will take you directly to product details. I ordered a few items to give my bedding a little refresh for the summer. Here’s what I selected: an organic white cotton quilt, a lightweight comforter and a fun pom pom decorative pillow…
Hey there, new moms or soon-to-be mamas! This post is for you! I’m rounding up all of the newborn items you will ACTUALLY use. I know there are SO many things on the market and it can be overwhelming to know what you need. Here are the things I love and used on a daily basis with Ford and now West.
Happy Friday, guys! I wanted to share a quick and easy summer recipe before heading into the 4th of July weekend. This would be a great side dish to make on Sunday to accompany a bbq situation. Since peaches are in season, it’s my go to. Paired with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata and avocado, it is a salad full of balanced flavor!
Hiya, guys!! Are you ready for THE easiest popsicle recipe? Since being pregnant the second time around, I have been on a popsicle kick! I legit ate them every single day. Come to find, it’s really hard to get your hands on healthy options at the grocery store that aren’t filled with SUGAR and other terrible ingredients. SO I thought… why not make my own version?
Today I’m sharing my first popsicle recipe for a delicious strawberry vanilla combo. It only has FOUR ingredients using natural sugars from fruit and honey. I found a cayuuuuute popsicle mold on Amazon that works wonderfully – linked here!
Alright, moms or soon-to-be mamas, this post is for you! I’m sharing all of my postpartum must-haves and detailing each item below! The above collage is also clickable and will take you directly to the product you select. I am keeping it REAL and hope this helps in your recovery post birth, ’cause ladies, it’s NO JOKE! If you have a questions, leave a comment on this post and I will get back to you! xx
It’s been about 4 weeks as I finally sit down to write West’s birth story. A big thanks to y’all, my followers/readers, for the support through my pregnancy/postpartum and all of the kind messages I’ve received after the birth of baby number two! I truly appreciate it! This is my experience with birth as I know everyone has their own journey. I fully support that we all have the right to chose the way in which we would like to give birth. This is mine. Alrighty, let’s get into my birth story with baby no. 2…
I’m here to share a festive summer eat! A charcuterie board is my favorite thing to whip together when I have people over as well as for the fam. We love them so much, I often make them for dinner.
Today’s beauty has a 4th of July flare with all the food being red, white or blue. I went to the store with the theme in mind and found SO many fun options: strawberries, blueberries, cheeses, meats, cookies and more! After I was done creating my 4th charcuterie, I added fun star decor on top for an extra festive touch. I found them on Amazon so y’all can get them in time for the holiday!
Summer is here and I’m on a major smoothie kick!! I love making recipes up and today I’m posting one of my new favorites. This healthy smoothie is great because it also supports woman during their postpartum period, with specific protein, vitamin d drops, healthy fats and oat milk. I’m currently 4 weeks PP and I crave this drink! It gives me SO much energy and helps maintain my milk supply while breastfeeding.
If you didn’t just have a baby, don’t worry, it’s still really good for you! I suggest swapping out the Ritual Essential Protein – Pregnancy & Postnatal for the Vanilla Coconut Collagen from Primal Kitchen. It has no dairy, whey or soy, zero sugar and has 10g of protein per serving! This is the perfect addition to any smoothie.
