When you realize there is plastic in everything… including your clothes. 😅 I’ve been on this low-tox journey for a while now (swapping the obvious stuff first—cleaners, skincare, kids’ things), but the more I dig into microplastics, the more I see them hiding in places I never thought to look. Our clothes.

Most “regular” activewear, leggings, bras, even some “natural-looking” basics are polyester, nylon, or blends that shed tiny plastic fibers every time we wash or wear them. And those little pieces don’t just disappear—they end up in our water, our air, and eventually us. It’s time to start looking at the tags and reading fabric descriptions!!👀

I’ve been slowly shifting my wardrobe toward organic cotton, linen, wool, and other plastic-free fabrics. It’s not about perfection (I still have pieces I’m working through), but about progress. One swap at a time feels doable for a busy mom who just wants cleaner options for the entire family that actually hold up!
