Forget carving pumpkins — this year, I’m serving Halloween in tiny black cauldrons. These mini charcuterie cups are spooky, zero-mess, and they come together in about twenty minutes. Perfect for a girls’ night or a full-on Halloween party spread.
• Little black mini cauldrons
• Halloween picks for spearing fruit, cheese, meat, and olives
• A Halloween platter or tray to line them up on
• Cheese – mini balls or cubbed
• Rolled salami or prosciutto
• Grapes and blackberries
• Olives — green or kalamata
• Crackers or pretzel sticks tucked in the back (optional)
1. Set out your cauldrons on the platter first so you know your layout.
2. Start with the cheese cubes and/or balls + berries as your base — they fill space and look hearty. I used the ghost picks.
3. Add rolled meats next, tucking them in so they don’t slide around.
4. Spear olives with the spider or bat picks and stick them in at angles for that “bubbling cauldron” look.
5. Fill any gaps with crackers or pretzels if you have room. I didn’t in mine.
Pro tip: Build them a few hours ahead and refrigerate — the picks keep everything from sliding, and the cauldrons make cleanup a breeze. Just toss them when the party’s over.

• 1 pound salami, folder or rolled
