Gobble, gobble!! Who’s ready for Turkey Day?? Can you guys believe Thanksgiving is only a little over a week away! This month has flown by and before it’s too late, let me show you how to decorate your holiday table! As you can see I went for a GOLD theme this year and let me tell you, I’m loving it!!
I always mention in decorating your home, like fashion, choose a color palette and stick to it. This really helps when picking out decor items and ensuring consistency. Like I said, I went with a gold/neutral situation. I added a bit of color with blooms and leaves. I started off with creating my flower arrangements. Since I have a long table I usually do three bouquets – One larger for the center and two smaller for each side. Note, if you have a round table I would do one arrangement for the center. Blooms really take your table to the next level SO I highly recommend them!!
Next up, I finished the centerpiece with candles, leaves, antlers, festive twine and spray painted gold pumpkins. Ok, let’s talk pumpkins. I took my white beauties I used for Halloween and thought, rather than throwing these away, how can I use them for Thanksgiving?? Well… why not paint them!! Since my theme was gold, I went ahead a sprayed these babies – SO easy. Whatever your color situation, DIY your old pumpkins! Lastly I set the table with some BEAU-tiful GOLD chargers, flatware, place-card holders and champagne flutes. Really loving them all!! I added in a few more decor items – cocktail napkins and bubbly, duh 🙂 Viola, my table is complete!! Now all I need is an epic meal 🙂
THE best part is World Market is having a 20% off SALE on most of the items pictured above! Worried about getting it in time? Don’t you worry, they have 2-day shipping!! YAY! Happy decorating!
