4th of july outfit

Hey, Ya’ll!  I hope you’re having a great week SO far.  Luke and I are heading to Europe today for the next two weeks!  We are attending  a wedding and  doing some summer travels of our own.  We will be back on the 3rd of July, just in time to celebrate good ole #merica – V jet lagged to say the least! LOL 😉  I won’t be posting as much on the blog in the next few weeks BUT make sure to follow along on all of our London and France adventures on my Instagram!

Today on the blog, I wanted to round up my favorite 4th of July fashions – from tees and accessories to cute summer dresses and suits, there is a festive option for you!  If you are boating, beaching or pooling it on the holiday weekend/day, why not opt for a cute swimmie and perhaps rock red, white and/or blue?  Below I’ve posted some options that would be great on the 4th as well as the entire summer.  Click here for one of my favorite red stripe one piece option (only $19).  I just picked her up at Forever 21 and she’s a real GEM!

AND… please note: you’re 4th of July look does not have to be cheesy!! For example, the suit I chose is striped and festive but not a legit American flag… ya get me?? 😉  BUT, if you’re all about it and wanna wear an American flag suit, go for it! I support you… LOL 🙂

Now let’s talk about a BBQ look – an example of a classic outfit on the 4th is the flat lay I styled out above.  Here’s the recipe 😉

Cut-offs – Every lady needs a pair in her closet!  They are a summer staple.  If you don’t want super SHORT shorts… trust me, I get it!  The denim shorts pictured here are great because they are longer in the back, covering the bum 🙂  Hallelujah!!

Graphic Tee – There are SO many great options now-a-days.  My USA shirt is only $11!!  I’ve found great budg-friendly options from Target and Forever 21.  See below for my tee picks. Bandana – Could this print be any more American??  There are numerous ways to wear a bandana.  Tie it around your neck, in your hair or even on a handbag for a lil’ flare! I’m all about this accessory.

Straw Hat – I’m a hat gal so whenever I get the chance, especially in the summer, I’m wearing one! Gotta protect your face but look cute doing it.  The beauty pictured here is a steal at under $50 and great quality!  I LOVE Brixton hats!

Slides – If not converse for the 4th, slides will do!  They are THE most popular style of shoes this summer.  I love my neutral pair as they go with everything! Cute and comfy – check, check!

Viola, there you have it!  Below are all the shopable links to my flat lay outfit as well as all of my top fashions for the 4th!
