This Cali girl headed to Texas for a food and city tour with my dear friend, food blogger, chef extraordinaire, What’s Gaby Cooking. We explored Dallas, like every square inch, in only 3 days! It was a blast and this post is from our first night out on the town. Yes, I’m aware my title is “Date Night”, but I have dates with my girlfriends all the time 🙂 Girl’s night! In the next month you will see all my outfits I wore around Texas and the places I discovered.
I have been waiting for the right time to wear this beautiful two-piece lace number and Dallas was it! If you know me you know I’m obsessed with lace and pretty much everything girly. When I received this gem in the mail from one of my fave retailers, Revolve, I fell in love! I think it is flattering on all different body types and is super chic. I’ve paired it with blush heels, blush 360 earrings and a studded clutch. Below I’ve posted some other lace options!
While in Dallas I had my first experience with drybar. Let me tell you, I’m in love! I have a hair obsession, hence my long locks, and drybar knocked it out of the park. Their motto is: no cuts. no color. just blowout. Yes please! When you arrive you choose your hair style from the menu – The Mai Tai, Dirty Martini, etc. SO cute! You can also add on a braid, scalp message, hair treatments and more. I picked The Cosmo for some luscious waves and my hair has never felt so good! Oh and did I mention they have a monthly membership? Yes, this will be in my future. If you have not tried drybar, please do, and you’re welcome in advance 😉 It’s only $40 so go ahead, treat yourself!
