Fields of Alfalfa + Road Tripin’ + Country Girl

Can you believe this field of YELLOW alfalfa?!?!  I was on my mountain town road trip this past month and boy, did I find some gems along the way!    Driving on the two-lane highway, fields of green started to turn BRIGHT yellow.  I didn’t believe my eyes!!  I’ve never seen anything like it!  It was absolutely magical and this country girl needed to have a moment to frolic amongst them!  And YES… I laid in them 🙂  My hubs thought I was crazy but, hey, I went with it AND loved it! haha

Ok, ok my outfit deets… I was wearing plaid, duh 😉  I was in the countryside of Idaho so let’s be honest, I NEEDED to wear plaid.  Next up I paired it with comfy boyfriend shorts and my classic converse sneakers.  I toped off the look with an amazing straw hat from Brixton.  I styled my hair in pigtail braids – easy peasy when on a road trip!  It was super important to me to be comfy as I was sitting in the car for numerous hours, so this outfit was perfection.  Lastly I added a lil’ country touch by tying a bandana to my handbag.  I mean, how cute!?!  Yehawwwww, I was ready for my summer ROAD TRIP!  Interested to see where I went and all the things I did?  You’re in luck, I’ll be giving a whole rundown of my Mountain Town adventure on my “Travel” section soon.  Stay tuned!
