Stripes + Leather

Let me just start by saying I LOVE this skirt from Forever 21 – only $18!  OH, and my necklace is from F21 as well and only $17, yahtzee!  I can not believe the amount of cute items I’ve purchased from Forever in this past year.  I’m a bit obsessed 🙂  Ok, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, black and white stripes are a trend of the season so I wanted to show you how to dress it up!  When I wear stripes I like to style them with solids – I’m not big into mixing prints.  I paired this skirt with a basic blank tank, fun lace-up sandals and my most favorite purchase from last fall, my blue BCBG leather jacket!  I wear my black leather jacket all the time, like with every outfit, SO when I saw this blue beauty I knew I had to invest in it.  I like to branch out every once and a while and get a classic item in a fun color!  I’ve posted some other great options below.  Check ’em out!

If you are wondering where I shot this look, I am in the beautiful tree-lined streets of Beverly Hills… trying not to get run over by a car 😉  There are SO many amazing neighborhoods in Los Angeles and obviously this is one of them, just look at it!  Since it is spring the blooms around the city are absolutely stunning.  I am obsessed with flowers so this time of year is pretty much EVERYTHING to me!  I’m not sure if I can go all the way and say it is my favorite season as you will soon find out I am massively obsessed with fall and Halloween!  OMG what I am I going to be?  Yes, I’m already thinking about it 😉  Eeeeeeeeee!
