I don’t know about you guys but when I’m in the BIG citayyyyy, I LOVE to dress up!  I was walking around New York like, heyyyyy gir, hey!  I kept it basic with an all black outfit and camel coat.  I found this black wrap dress from Tobi for $32 on SALE!  It also comes in taupe.  Either color is a great basic for your closet.  You can never go wrong with a wrap dress – perfect for a night-out AND it’s great for travel as the material does not wrinkle.  I styled out my black beauty with Steve Madden BOOTIES that are also on sale, YAS – 50% off at $65!!  Next up, I layered on tights and my camel shawl coat to keep warm.  I accessorized the outfit with what my friends call, my power choker 🙂  I’ve worn this crystal beauty from Baublebar SO much.  I wear it when I get all fancy BUT also with just jeans and a tee.  I’m obsessed with it!

Ok, now that I’m all gussied up, what to do in the NYC??  Well, that evening I hit up my favorite place to grab a cocktail in the city, King Cole Bar.  It’s a New York Staple situated in The St. Regis Hotel!  The room itself is exactly what you envision when you think a chic and sophisticated lounge, with burgundy leather seating, dark lighting and a famous Parrish painting over the bar.  Also, fun fact: many mixologist believe the Bloody Mary was invented at the King Cole Bar – how cool?!  If you are in the area, it’s a must SEE and DRINK!
