Haunted Farmhouse Halloween Decor Details

Happy first day of October! Since I’m the Halloween Queen, you can only imagine my excitement! Eeeeeeek! I have been planning all of my festive content for the month and excited to start sharing. Today it’s all about my haunted farmhouse Halloween decor.

When it comes to holidays, I reuse a lot of decor from previous years, typically styling them in different ways. I also add to my collections when I come across must-have items. This year I’ve found some new spoooktacular gems!! Y’all ready??

On today’s post I’m showing you my entryway spaces – console table and bench. Please note, you can use any of these decorations throughout the house. For example, last year I used the bats on my fireplace. If you’re interested in how it looked, check it out here.

For my bench area, I layered a knit throw with a black plaid blanket and buffalo check pillow – all great deals! You know I needed a cozy moment the instant you walk in my house. 😉 I paired these with a cuddle-worthy skeleton and Frankenstein. I then propped up my new Edgar Allen Poe quote ($20) and boo sign. All of these items are giving me major haunted farmhouse vibes, and I’m here for it!! Lastly, I decided to use my black paper BATS over my entryway mirror. I first took a little white spider web and stretched it from one corner of my bench to the opposite side of the round mirror. I secured it with good ole packing tape. Once the web was in place, I started arranging my bats, starting in the lower corner and flying upwards, off the wall. I also used packing tape to stick in place. You don’t need anything stronger as they are paper. I’m pretty OBSESSED with how it turned out! The bats are very affordable ($6.99 for a set) and a great way to decorate your house for Halloween.

Next up, I styled my console table. This is probably my favorite setup out of all of my years decorating! I’m obsessed with the all black theme, farmhouse signs ($30), iron candelabras ($29), vintage books ($10), velvet skulls ($5) and black pumpkins ($3)!! Some new and some old items. For each tier I also added a layer of black gauze or web fabric to place my decoration on. It adds in a bit of texture and really finishes off the space!

I’ve linked everything that’s currently available below so it’s easy for y’all to shop. I also rounded up my favorite farmhouse Halloween signs. There are SO many great options.

Happy Halloween decorating! Muhahahaha!

  1. I just found this account, how lovely! I’m on the hunt for black and white farm prints. Where is the cowboy print from?

  2. Hello! Does your paper bats rip from the packing tape? You inspired me and we have some paper crows up in our house but the little sticky pieces they came with aren’t holding them on our wall!
