Hey there, guys! I’ve been wanting to setup an outdoor dining area on our deck for months and I finally did! I was initially waiting for our decking to be redone but I couldn’t find anyone to do it fairly soon 🙁 GOOD news, we are going to replace it this coming spring when we gut and remodel the kitchen. I can’t wait!! With that said, please disregard the beat up wood. I did however place a very large jute rug down to “hide” a lot of it 🙂

Another dilemma I’ve been dealing with is actually finding an outdoor table. The ones I like are either sold out or not in stock until this fall. That timing does not work where I live as the snow will most likely start to fall in November. SOOOOOO what did I do?! I have been planing on re-doing the inside dining room which means I had an extra farmhouse table. AND yes, I understand it is not made to be outside. I was going to sell it but thought, why not use it outside?! So that’s what I did!

My favorite months in the mountains are the summer, so being outside as much as possible is very important. That includes any and all meals possible. We now enjoy this space every single day! On this post I wanted to show you a simple farmhouse tablescape. I’m using old entertaining staples like my natural chargers paired with some new goodies!
