Hi, y’all! I hope you are having a great sunny summer weekend. Luke and I have finally been able enjoy our backyard as the weather just warmed up here in the mountains. It also helps that our outdoor furniture has arrived! Let the BBQ season begin!
I am happy to announce, I’ve partnered with one of my favorite home retailers, Pottery Barn, to share their line of sustainably sourced furniture items. Today I’ll be showing you a closer look at my new outdoor goods: dining table, benches, bar cart, decor and more!
In preparation for summer, I started looking for a large farmhouse-style dining table for outside. I finally found a rustic-chic beauty a la Pottery Barn! The X-base and washed gray wood was the perfect fit for my modern farmhouse theme. The table has an extender to give you the option to seat 8-10 people. We love to entertain so the bigger the table, the better! I opted for benches rather than chairs because I felt like it was a more casual seating environment for outside. If you prefer chairs, they also have options in this line (linked below). An added bonus to my outdoor furniture set, is that it is sustainably sourced. This means the pieces are made with sustainable, recycled or reclaimed materials. Love that!
A few other items I have from the sustainability collection are my galvanized bar cart and recycled glass vases. Both are great additions to my outside area. I will be sharing how I styled out this table and summer bar cart in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
Pottery Barn is committed to making a positive impact on the planet and I’m on board for that! Other exciting environmental and social initiative goals, in addition to having almost 50% of their wood sustainably sourced are: $3 million in Fair Trade Premiums paid back to workers by 2020, 50% of Pottery Barn’s upholstered furniture is currently GREENGUARD Gold certified and 100% of their cotton will be sustainably sourced by 2021. Find out more information about each and how Pottery Barn is reducing their footprint here.
After learning all of this information, I personally love Pottery Barn even more! I’ve already purchased more items from this line for my outdoor spaces. I’ll be sharing them later this summer! See below to shop the items I currently have as well as a roundup of my favorite outdoor and interior goods from the sustainably sourced collection. As always, leave a comment with any questions!
Thanks to Pottery Barn for sponsoring this post and being an amazing partner!
