Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Alright, guys!! Are you ready for the yummiest gluten free chocolate chip cookie recipe?! I’ve been testing this one out for awhile and they are perfect.

I make these for the boys once a week and they are a big hit! We tend to eat gluten free because quite honestly, we just feel better and less inflamed. This cookie is a great heathy-ish option that won’t make your gut go haywire!

Just a touch of cinnamon and grass fed butter are the key ingredients in this recipe. Trust me! See below for all of the details. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup almond flour

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1 large egg beaten

1/4 cup grass fed butter melted

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix together the dry ingredients: almond flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and sea salt. Set aside.

3. In a medium bowl whisk one egg, melted grass fed butter, maple syrup and vanilla.

4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Mix until it looks like cookie dough.

5. Fold in the chocolate chips.

6 Grab a baking sheet. Place 12 cookie dough balls on top – golf ball size. I use a cookie scoop to measure out the perfect size.

7. Use a fork to lightly press balls into a cookie shape.

8. Sprinkle with sea salt.

9. Place in the oven to cook for 10-12 minutes. The cookies will be slightly golden brown on top (see picture).

10. Let cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!

  1. My husband and I are in Sun Valley this week so when I saw this recipe I tried it in honor of being here! I have to say- they are great! So healthy and delicious- can’t believe there is no sugar! I browned the butter which is worth the extra few minutes. Thanks for sharing!
