Hi there, friends! Today I’m rounding up my favorite non-toxic food storage items. I revamped everything I was using in the kitchen a few years ago as I got deeper in my healthy living journey. I avoid plastics as much as possible. Instead I use glass, bamboo, different types of baskets, silicone bags and stainless steel.

WHY do I care? Just think about it. If your food is sitting in plastic, you will inevitably ingest it. Microplastics are very toxic to our bodies. Not to mention how harmful plastics are to the environment. I only use silicone bags for the kiddos lunches and extra food in my fridge. This is such a game changer! NO MORE PLASTIC BAGS. When I can, I now swap plastic out for a better alternative. It’s an easy switch!
