Hair Curling Details

Hey oh, babes!  Since getting my extensions earlier this month, I’ve had a lot of requests for a hair curling tutorial.  Today’s THE day!  My everyday waves look effortless, gorg and are super easy to do!  But seriously, they are!  I created a video for IGTV and also wanted to share it here, on the blog, as I thought it wold be super helpful for y’all.  Scroll down to watch.

I use my favorite CROC 1 inch curling iron to achieve my hair-DO.  By far, it is my most favorite company for hot tools.  I also have one of their flat irons – greenion.  GREAT news, boos… I’ve partnered with CROC to give away TWO of these wands.  One, here on the blog, and the other on tonight’s Instagram LIVE.   See below for giveaway deets.

Not only do I get asked about how I style my hair on the reg, but also the products I use.  My natural hair is a bit wavy and for the most part pretty healthy.  I think the fact I eat well and take supplements helps with the overall shine and strength of my locks.  I’ve tried a bunch of shampoo/conditioners and I prefer OUAI clean.  It’s simple and v fresh smelling, leaving my locks clean and shinny!  YAS pease!  I don’t use hairspray on the reg but if I do, I like ORIBE.  It’s not sticky and gets the job done.  The only other hair product I use is a heat protectant.  If you are using hot tools on your hair daily like me, its SO important to use a heat shield to protect your healthy locks.  I’ve found two I like – Alterna Bamboo Smooth Anti-Breakage Thermal Protectant Spray and ORIBE Balm D’or Heat Styling Shield.  I try to keep it simple and fortunately, my locks are easily tamed. 😉

  161. Even though my hair is the length yours was before the extensions, this was really helpful. I especially liked the info about wrapping your hair around the barrel, even when it has a clip…I struggle with the clip curling wands. I also appreciate seeing what hair products you use, because I am also into clean products!
    Side note…You have beautiful hair, it looks great whatever length, always sooo shiny and the cutest styles:)
