HALLOWEEN is my most favorite holiday! I mean who doesn’t like to dress up?!!! One of my first memories from my childhood is trick or treating. I wasn’t the norm child who raced from door to door and tried to rack up the most candy. I was all into the costume and preparation for the big day… surprise, surprise 🙂 The night where I could dress up and be anything was SO magical! I have always had quite the obsession and once I was at an age where trick or treating was no longer appropriate (like a few years ago…hehe), I began throwing parties. In the past few years I started an annual dinner party. Above are pictures from this year’s bash. One of my best friends, Gaby, cooked a massive fall feast as she is a food blogger extraordinaire! Check her out here, What’s Gaby Cooking.
This year I thought it would be fun to create a theme around my party. SKULLS all the way! Obvi, it started from a picture on Pinterest – half glam and half skull face, sign me up! I had my most amazing makeup artist (Hollywood Makeup) come over to the house and work her magic! We had day of the dead, a lil’ glam and obvi some creepy skulls 🙂 I paired my face with a black maxi, statement necklace for a little glitz and simple black heels. Viola, I was ready to partayyy!
Now for the decorations! I add to my collection every year and I think my hubs is about to kill me… hehe. I may need to get a storage unit at some point 😉 I have been on the hunt for some new items this year and below I have found some amazing options! If you haven’t noticed I tend to like the black and white decor and rarely throw in orange, BUT it’s all about your own individual taste. Have fun with it!!
It’s not too late to decorate your house with some spooktacular items! Happy HALLOWEEN!
