Shabby-Chic Bedroom Details

Hey babes!! This week it’s ALL about BEDROOMS!  Today I’m showing y’all a peek at my Shabby-Chic master bedroom.  From furniture, bedding and decor, let’s get to it, boos!  Make sure to tune into my Insta Story for a room tour.

In my late 20’s I started to nest.  At 28 I got married, moved into a new place and was ready to start creating a home for my family.  This meant, it was time to save for some key furniture pieces!  Although there are great home deals out there, I found out quickly, furniture is expensive!  It’s not like buying a pair of shoes… $100 won’t get ya very far when purchasing big ticket furniture items.  My advice would be to first come up with a furniture plan – room-by-room, and then start investing in pieces that are classic in design and well-made.  When you’re spending moolah on furniture you want it to last for years, amiright?!

Some of you know, I’m currently in the midst of building a home in Idaho so the thought of furnishing my new house, is SO exciting! Stay tuned for A LOT of home inspo and content from my modern farmhouse later this year.  If you missed my first post about my new house – check it out here!

Ok, let’s talk about this pretty lil’ space in la la land.  When I became an “adult” and began my decorating journey, the first room I put together was Luke and my room!  The furniture, specifically bed, side tables, dresser, bench and lamps are what I call the foundation of my bedroom.  I found a lot of my gems at Restoration Hardware.  Later this week I’ll be sharing ALL of my favorite budget-friendly beds and headboards to get this shabby-chic look-for-less.  Stay tuned!  See below for my bedroom furniture links:

Tufted Bed – King, 80″ Headboard, Belgian Linen, Color: Sand

Mirrored Side Tables / Dresser

Chandelier Lamps

Bench – only $170!! #homedeal

Next up, let’s discuss BEDDING – one of my favorite things.  I LOVE everything cozy, so you can better believe I’m all about sheets, blankets and of course, pillows!!  My hubs always jokes about my pillow chopping skills 😉  I’m a professional – LOL!  My favorite budget-friendly retailer for pretty pillow covers AND inserts is, H&M Home.  Both my blush and gray velvet beauties on my bed are from here AND under $10!!  Want more deals??  January is a great month to invest in new bedding as many retailers are having their annual white SALES!  I purchased my new gray duvet and shams a few months ago and GREAT new, they’er currently on SALE – check them out here.  For my sheets, I have a classic white set from Pottery Barn and gray set from West Elm, and switch between the two. I love both retailers because they have great quality sheet options at good price-points.  OH, and let’s not forget THE most epic blanket in ALL of the land… this knitted cream beauty is one of my most asked about home items.  I don’t just have one… BUT three of these babies in my house 🙂  Click HERE for this blanket! (FYI – I have the 48×60 size)

Now for the items that make it personal – art, candles, flowers, books, etc.  As y’all know I LOVE neutrals, metallics, blush and fashion so many of the decor items around my home fall in line with this.  Chanel prints, pink blooms, a blush candle and gold figurines – all must-haves in my bedroom!  See below for links to my decor gems!
