How To Curl Hair w/ a Straightener

Hello, y’all! The day has finally come… SO many of you have been asking me how I curl my hair. Well, today’s the day! You may be interested to know that I curl my locks with a straightener! Yes, you read that right… a straightener! Trust me, the first time I tried it, it was a disaster. I remember going on YouTube myself and finding a video to show me the ways. Once I practiced a few times, I had it down! It’s SO easy. Basically what I’m saying is, don’t be scared!! Give yourself a minute to figure it out.

With a straightener you can achieve a more modern curl. I love the straitened end paired with a loose wave – it’s just perfection. I explain everythaaaaang in the vid 😉 Another plus to using a straightener is the curl last longer. I have even slept on my curled hair and the next morning it’s still good to go – I maybe just touch up a few pieces. Gotta love that!

If you have longer hair, don’t worry, using a straightener is just as easy. Please note two things: [1] You may want to use a bit bigger straightener due to having more hair – I’d go with a 1.5″ flat iron AND [2] You will need to really use your wrist to create more than one curl (this will make sense when you watch the video). Make sure to curl your hair all the way down to the 1″ straightened tip 😉
