Morning Skincare Steps

[1] Eye Patches – I love starting the morning with a cool eye patch from my beauty mini fridge. One of my face issues is PUFFINESS! No matter what I do, my eyes always look SO tired. I’ve found wearing an eye patch for about 20-30 after waking up really helps to hydrate my under eye area and de-puff! YAS please. My favorites are Peter Thomas Roth – Gold.

[2] Face Wash – After I take off my eye patches, I give my face a good wash. I love the Dermalogica special cleansing gel because I feel like it gets my face squeaky clean without drying out my face. I also use this wash at night because it’s great removing makeup! Y’all are gonna love this product.

[3] Serum 1 – As I mentioned in my video, you don’t need to use two serums. I just happen to like both of these for different skin issues. One to target pigmentation and one for hydration. The SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF is a daytime antioxidant serum that diminishes discoloration and evens out skin tone. After using this serum for 2 months, I’ve seen my dark spots lighten – YAY!

[4] Serum 2 – Since moving to Idaho, I have tried a few new product to help better hydrate my skin as it’s dry AF here. This is one of the standout gems!! The PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum is the product for you in you live in a dry climate or suffer from dehydrated skin. Trust me, your face will thank you!!

[5] Rose Quartz Roller – If you want to go the extra mile and get the most out of the serums, roll it out with a rose quartz roller! Not only will the products you use beforehand go deeper into your skin, but you will also de-puff your face at the same time! It’s a win-win! Oh and it’s only $20 – a great skincare deal!

[6] Moisturizer – Like the PCA serum, my new moisturizer cream has helped to hydrate my skin. The year prior to moving to Idaho, I was using a face oil. I soon came to realize it was the culprit for many of my bumpy breakouts. I actually have oily skin so it was causing it to produce even more, and clog my pores. My facialist recommended the GLO Conditioning Hydrating Cream. It is water-based and a better product for my skin type and the climate I’m living in. I have been using it for the past 6 months and loving it!

[7] SPF – If y’all don’t wear sunscreen, I don’t think we can be friends… 😉 But like, really y’all! It is probably the most important thing you put on your face in the morning. Like I always say, you gotta protect YO sh*t!! I spend a lot of time and moolah taking care of my skin with products and lasers, so you better believe I’m wearing sunscreen on the daily. My favorite is Elta MD. I’ve been wearing it for 10+ years and its great to layer under makeup.

[8] Eye Cream – I have many eye creams I like and talked about them on this post. I started using Tarte’s Maracuja C-Brighter™ Eye Treatment a few months ago and I’m loving it. It targets under eye wear and tear, helping with fine lines and puffiness. This product is great to wear under concealer as it doesn’t flake.

[9] CC Cream – The Lune and Aster CC Cream by far is my most favorite skin/beauty product I’ve ever used. I talk about it ALL the time and truly believe it has magical powers! 🙂 It not only is the most incredible product to even out skin tone, but it also has SPF 50. Another layer of sunscreen – check, check!!

[10] Lip Balm – We can’t forget about our lippies, y’all! I keep my pout hydrated on the reg. I’ve tried a billion balms and I’m happy to say I’ve found one I love! Not only does it work but it has a great natural tint. I carry this with me in my purse and apply it in the morning and throughout the day.
