Halloween Front Porch Styling

Yes, BOOS… it’s that time of year! Halloween is just a little over a month away and you know I’m on it! If you missed my past year’s setups, check all of them out on my HALLOWEEN section of the blog here.

I decorated my front porch and house this past week just as the weather started to turn crisp. Perfect timing! Today I’m sharing a look at my first spooktacular space – front door decor!

Since I have a covered porch approaching the front door, I thought this would be a great opportunity to finally try out the hanging witch hat trend. I LOVE THEM! I filmed a how-to video that will be coming to Reels next week. It’s pretty easy to do – Luke even said he could attempt it! All you need are scissors, fishing wire, command hooks and of course, witch hats. I found my witch hats here! Great Amazon find 😉

This year my front entryway really combines ALL of my favorite decor items for Halloween: layering matts, pumpkins, a posable skeleton, bats, wreath and hanging hats!!

I first started styling this space by lining the walkway up to the door with the hanging hats. I then layered a NEW black and white plaid rug (size: 3’x5′) with a bat door mat (size: 2’x3′) on top. Love the look! Next up I used my everyday oversized lanterns, placed white pumpkins inside and draped black fabric over the top. Always gotta add a spooky touch!

Next I hung a faux black leaf wreath on the door. A great Target find for only $20! Additionally I taped about 15ish bats, starting at the wreath and up the door/siding. Y’all know my feeling about bat decor! I just love them and use them all over the house! A great halloween touch and really inexpensive.

On each side of the door I placed a wooden Halloween sign. I find all of mine on Etsy. These are both oldies so I posted similar options below. My posable skeleton, Mr. Bones, was a great place to “hold” one of the signs!

There you have it! Shop my Halloween front porch/door below. Happy decorating, boos! Muhahaha!
