Patio season is coming in hot! Who’s ready?! After a 5 month winter in Idaho, you can better believe I am! Today I wanted to share our master bedroom patio seating area with y’all! Creating a space for Luke and I to hang outside after the babes go to sleep was high on my priority list. We have to take advantage of the summer nights in the mountains!
I had chairs from last year I set up in this space and added all NEW accent furniture and decor. Since my chairs/ottomans are sold out, I am rounding up more of my favorite affordable options below!
I first selected a jute rug for the foundation of the space. I use these inside and outdoors. This patio happens to be covered so I’m not worried about the weather. The natural fiber rug brings in a warm-textured feel paired with our newly painted dark exterior. I love the combo! You will also notice our soffit (under the roof) is lighter wood complementing the rug. The paint colors on our home are Sherwin Williams “Iron Ore” (exterior) and “Tricorn Black” (windows).
I then placed the chairs on the outer edge of the rug and started styling from there. The side table I selected is a faux stump at $100 and the perfect rustic touch. It’s a great size to set a citronella candle and drinks on as you enjoy outside. Next up I found black and cream outdoor pillows, different sized lanterns, a straw tray to set plastic wine glasses in and a faux olive tree (50% off!) to add a bit of greenery! I love how it turned out. See below to shop everything!
Next on the outdoor space agenda, I am planning a seating area off of our living room. I will be sharing next week!
