My Modern Country Home Paint Colors

20 09

Hey hey! Today I wanted to share all of the paint colors I used throughout my modern country home. I have been a big fan of Benjamin Moore “simply white” so surprise, surprise, I used it again! Many tend to think it goes more “yellow”. It is a warmer shade of white, which I prefer. It works well in my space as I have large windows throughout my home, meaning a lot of natural light.

Paint can be very challenging to pick, so here are a few tips…

[1] Always get samples of MULTIPLE colors. This will help you determine what color direction you want to go – there are SO many options. I like the company, Samplize. You can peel and stick them on any wall.

[2] Put the sample in the room you will be using it in. Look at it throughout the ENTIRE day. Light is different in every space depending upon the surroundings and sun.

[3] If you can, paint your final 2-3 options on a wall and see what one you gravitate towards.

[4] Keep in mind, colors will always look more intense/darker on a bigger scale 😉
