Happy weekend babes! I wanted to share a quick and easy recipe that I make almost every week. It is the perfect protein to prep on Sunday to ensure you have a healthy and delicious option to add to any dinner. I use it for bowls, salads and tacos during the week.
Come fall, I’m using my crockpot at least 3 times a week. I have the 6-quart version and it’s the perfect size for meats, stews and soups. Great news, it is under $50!! Shop it here.
See below for the TWO ingredients and steps. Leave a comment with any questions you have.
1 – 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
1 tub (cup) fresh salsa
1. Place raw chicken breast in crockpot.
2. Pour salsa into the crockpot and cover both sides of chicken.
3. Secure lid and turn crockpot on low.
4. Let cook for 4-5 hours until chicken is fully cooked. To check, take a fork and try to shred chicken. If it does, the meat is done!

Is there a favorite salsa you use?
Yes – I use a local one from Despo’s.
