Non-Toxic Home Cleaning Favorites

Let’s get into cleaning! I know, I know it’s not THE most exciting topic, however It’s something I do 1,000 times a day. In my wellness journey it has become a top priority that I’m using non-toxic products in my home. AND it’s such an easy swap once you find products that are safe and effective. Traditional cleaning supplies contain toxic chemicals that can be high in allergens as well as endocrine disruptors (hormones). It’s time to change it up!

I’ve been using the Branch Basics concentrate to make all purpose, bathroom and streak cleaners for years. I think it’s the best option on the market. I purchased my own glass bottles and cute labels.

I tend to like cleaning with good ole vinegar in the bathroom, floors and for food. You really can’t go wrong and it’s SO effective – just need to get over the smell.

For dishes I love Rosey. This is the Thrive Market brand and very affordable. When it comes to the dishwasher I prefer Blue Land as it’s clean and doesn’t use plastic. However I must mention, I hand wash most dishes. It’s something I’ve always done and after learning more about mold in places like the dishwasher, I’ll do it all day long.

The most challenging category for me to find a non-tox option that I actually liked was laundry detergent. I’ve tried SO many over the past few years and have finally found one I love – Dirty Labs!
