Happy Sunday, guys! I’m here today to share another look at a before & after space in the fixer upper home. The bunk/play room has been a space we’ve started to use daily now that Ford is MOVING! I’m SO thankful we have this room for him and soon to be baby no. 2. It’s cozy, kid-friendly and fun!
Let’s talk about how it all started…. I was working with a RED rubber-ish floor and yellow walls. YIKES! Many of you have told me the BEFORE of this room reminds you of the Shinning… haha, YUP!
I decided to take this space and create a room for kiddos. First we painted it Benjamin Moore “simply white” and replaced the flooring with soft, neutral carpet (color: canvas). What a difference these two items made!!
Now it was time to furnish! I wanted to have an area to put guests (our friends with kids) when they come stay with us, so I opted for bunk beds. Love these gray beauties! I then decorated the room with cute graphic art, a washable rug, cozy must-have like the bean bag chairs, a fun trunk and of course, toys!! I linked everything I used in this space below.
If you’re wondering where Ford’s toys are, they are nicely put away in the buffet (sold out) under the TV and baskets! AND yes, they’re colorful! 😉 The room typically looks this clean for about 30 seconds a day! LOL! It is meant for kiddos to PLAY and have fun. I’ll let my Type A relaxxxxxx in this room!

Adults to lounge not adulterated 😂
Are the bean bag chairs comfortable for adulterated to lounge? Please let me know. Much appreciation!
