Capes for Days

I’m loving CAPES right now!  They are a current trend and the perfect chic winter addition to your wardrobe.  I found mine last year at Topshop and knew I needed it!  First off, I styled the cape with Spanx leggings, which if you have not tried, they are EVERYTHING!!  I prefer a skinny-leg pant or legging when wearing a cape.  It is much more flattering as the cape is oversized, hiding the areas we want, BUT making sure the rest of our bodies look svelte!  Next up, I added fun accessories to pull out the colors in the cape – burgundy gloves, a cream hat and a blush clutch.  I finished off the look with camel booties – boom!

I shot this outfit with the talented photographer, Hallie Kathryn, in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho.  This lil’ mountain town is my most favorite place on the planet.  If you ever have a chance to visit, you MUST!  We had a blast shooting in winter wonderland and just you wait… SO many more looks coming your way!
