You guys, the table is set!! It’s time to host a SPOOKtacular dinner partayyyyyyy! As I mentioned in my Halloween Decor post, I have collected my decorations for years and same goes for my table situation. Some of my items are oldies but goodies as well as some brand spankin’ new beauties!! I can’t get over all of the amazing decorations that continues to come out each year. You could say my collection has grown… like, a lot! 🙂
When it comes to Halloween decor, I like to keep it black, white and a lil’ metallic thrown in – that’s just how I role! For any table setup, I always start with my centerpiece. My foundation is black cheescloth, which if you haven’t decorated with is fantastic!! It gives you a creepy but oddly chic look. Ya, ya, I know it doesn’t really make sense but let’s just go with it 😉 Next up I wanted to find one item that would be the center focal point of the table and why not a candelabra!? YAS, it was perfection!! I found a vintage one on Etsy but don’t worry, World Market has a great option too ($25)! Next, up I was on the hunt for some smaller decor items to place over the cheesecloth. Items I like to use are: skulls, black roses, sparkle black leaves and of course, PUMPKINS!! If you haven’t checked out target, you NEED to! They have SO many pumpkins in all different shapes and colors. I found some black and white beauties from $3-8!! No matter what your Halloween style, have fun with it!!
Lastly, I have to discuss my dinnerware setup! I started with a silver charger, classic white dinner plate and a fun halloween salad plate. Let’s be honest, the top plate is really the only one your guests will see so be festive with it! I was SO pumped when I found these skull plates from Pottery Barn. The skeletons making drinks made me immediately laugh! They were the perfect addition to my tablescape. I finished off the table with one of my favorite details, name place cards. I love to personalize things and this is the perfect way when entertaining. I had a calligrapher on Etsy make them for super cheap! Here is the vendor I used – Made By Meer.
