Happy December, guys! Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, it’s time to prep for Christmas. If you’re hosting a holiday gathering or Christmas dinner, this post is for you!
I wanted to put together a festive table. This year I went with a country Christmas theme using blacks, neutrals and pops of gold. Before styling the table I wanted to add a touch of holiday to my chairs. I did this with mini wreaths! Give it a try! It’s such a fun way to dress up a space.
When putting together a table I start with the centerpiece. I used a new kraft paper and calligraphy runner that says “Merry Christmas”. I placed gold leaf garland (sold out – similar option here), my go-to candle sticks and 3 sets of metallic bells on top. The bells are one of my most favorite new decor additions! Only $24 for a multi-size set.
For the place setting I started with my favorite rustic wood chargers. They are the foundation for building everything on top of. I stacked it in this order: buffalo check country napkin, black dinner plate, “be merry” napkin, stoneware deer salad plate and a personalized name wreath. Love the layered look! Lastly I used gold flatware for a metallic touch and two fun glasses – wine and champagne.
