Weekly Food Prep & Planning Details \ healthy + high protein

Alrighty! Y’all have been asking for a breakdown of my weekly food prep & planning, so here we go…

I’ve incorporated this into my Sunday routine and have found it to be SO helpful for numerous reasons: [1] ensures everyone in the family is eating healthy, [2] saves me so much time throughout the week, [3] alleviates the stress of what to make for dinner each night and [4] allows me to hit my daily protein goal easily.

Trust me, it’s a game changer for the week! If your a busy mom, work or have 5,000 things going on during the week and want your health to be a priority, food prep!!

Not only doing I prep healthy foods, mostly proteins and snacks for the week, but I also plan out at least 5 dinner meals for the week. I go to the store once (sometimes twice) and get everything I need. This is also a big time saver.

In addition to food prep, I also give my fruits and veggies a good wash with my DIY cleaner. It’s essentially water, vinegar and lemon. I let everything air dry and then store in baskets/bowls. Either in the fridge or on the counter. Everyone can and go without needing to wash it. Again, saving time!

So… what do I prep? Below is a list of my typical Sunday food preparation along with a recipe link if needed. Again I cook a lot of protein, grass fed ground beef and slow cooker chicken, for bowls and salads. I use these for both lunches and dinners. In addition I typically do a batch of egg cups (great breakfast), protein bars (the best snack), sourdough bread, grain-free granola and bone broth quinoa.

See below for more details!
